Supported Work Experience
The Supported Work Experience (SWE) program serves individuals with developmental disabilities and traumatic brain injuries who require specific vocational training and skill building to maximize vocational and personal growth. SWE is offered in both our Lansing and Charlotte locations. Participants of this program are referred by Community Mental Health of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham counties or by private insurance.
The primary focuses of SWE includes:
- Developing positive and transferable work skills
- Identification of potential employment barriers as well as needed accommodations for success
- Preparation for obtaining and maintaining community employment
