Peckham Farms grows fresh produce for retailers and institutional food service buyers across Michigan. During the summer, Peckham Farms branded products such as sweet peppers, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, and basil can be found in Meijer stores around Mid-Michigan. We provide products to other retail produce sellers from time to time as well. All products are grown at our farm in Lansing, and harvested, packed, and delivered by us as well.
We also sell wholesale volume produce of many varieties to hospitals, schools, food hubs, and caterers in our area as well. Some of these items include peppers, cucumbers, potatoes, tomatoes, onions, broccoli, and more. Our farm has a documented and extensive food safety program. The program includes worker health and hygiene, safe handling of produce across the food chain, traceability, and much more. We always strive for transparency in all that we do. If you have any questions regarding our food safety practices or growing procedures, please contact us.
Our farm is certified by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for Good Agricultural Practices (GAP). The certification covers field harvest, packing, processing, storage, and distribution activities for strawberries, tomatoes, and peppers. The certification is renewed on an annual basis.
