Barry J. Kavanagh is an accomplished finance executive with more than 25 years of experience leading financial operations across manufacturing, insurance, and nonprofit organizations in the United States and internationally. He most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Avalon & Tahoe Manufacturing, where he oversaw financial strategy, compliance, risk management, and human resources during a period of significant growth.
Barry brings deep expertise in financial management, audits, taxation, and governance, along with extensive experience working with boards, regulated entities, and nonprofit organizations. He has held leadership and board roles supporting employee assistance foundations and insurance organizations, contributing strong financial stewardship and mission-driven oversight. He is passionate about driving operational performance in the service of Peckham’s mission to create opportunities for individuals of all abilities and backgrounds.
A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Barry holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Accounting and Finance and is committed to applying his financial leadership in the service of community impact and nonprofit missions.
