Peckham’s Residential Services provide caring, community-focused homes for adults who need extra support to live independently. Our model centers on choice, respect, and offer warm, welcoming environments where individuals and their families feel at home. As we grow, our goal is to expand residential options that honor each person’s independence and provide the highest quality support.

House of Ruth
House of Ruth is an adult foster care home for men with developmental disabilities located in Charlotte, MI. Since 1999, this six-bedroom home, situated on 3.5 peaceful acres with a gazebo, has offered a loving, structured, and friendly place to live. Residents experience stability, connection, and a safe environment designed to help them thrive.
What We Provide
Our residential program provides:

- Daily living support and assistance based on individual needs
Eligibility
Residential Services are designed for adult men with developmental disabilities who benefit from a structured, caring home with staff available to support daily living needs.
Eligibility and placement are based on assessments and program availability.
Waitlist Information
House of Ruth is a HUD-supported property and requires a formal waitlist for placement. Interested individuals or families can request to be added by completing our Residential Services contact form, located below.
