PECKHAM IN ACTION

This week is National Arts in Education Week, and Peckham celebrates the artists in its Art from the Heart program, and the leadership of our Manager of Creative Experiences Emily Chase. Emily is a 20 year artist and educator with experience in psychology, visual art, special education, community and school based arts programming with underserved populations.

We wanted to re-share this blog post with Peckham Partner Michigan Art Education Instruction and Assessment (MAEIA), as Emily shares her perspective on education and assessment in the creative community, specifically working with artists with disabilities.
