PECKHAM IN ACTION

Yesterday, a press conference was held to announce Governor Whitmer’s budget increase for the Michigan Reconnect program! Mariah Lawrence, who works as a Customer Service Representative here at Peckham, was given the opportunity to share the significance the MIReconnect program has had on her life at this conference! The event was informational and impactful.

MIReconnect is designed to help more Michiganders obtain a post-secondary credential so they can earn a higher salary to support their families. The State will help students who have not yet earned a 2- or 4-year degree attend a 2- or 4-year community college, by providing tuition scholarships.
